Eschalon: Book II Crack Cd

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

About This Game Return to the world of Eschalon in the sequel to 2007's award-winning RPG. The blight of war now threatens all of Eschalon and the only hope for peace lies in the secret of your past. Don't miss this second chapter in the epic Eschalon trilogy given "5 Stars" by RPGWatch and called "immensely appealing" by The Huffington Post.Key Features:A huge world to explore; you are free to go anywhere and do anything.Thousands of items, monsters, puzzles and traps await your discovery.Turn-based action happens at your pace- play it fast and furious or slow and tactical. No experience with Eschalon: Book I is needed to enjoy Book II. 1075eedd30 Title: Eschalon: Book IIGenre: Indie, RPGDeveloper:Basilisk GamesPublisher:Basilisk GamesRelease Date: 12 May, 2010 Eschalon: Book II Crack Cd I got this on sale for $5, and after playing it for over a dozen hours, I'm already thinking it's one of the best "indie" computer RPG's. It's like the older Elder Scrolls games, but with Ultima-style graphics and interface. It has a freely explorable world that is viewed in a 3rd person, top-down perspective. Resolution is limited to 1024x768. But I actually dig the graphics and interface. What I dig even more is how *challenging* this RPG is, and how you can build and play your character in very different ways to deal with those challenges. It's not an action RPG, like Diablo; it's more of a thinking man's RPG, like Elder Scrolls. (Eventhough a big part of that challenge can be a pain, dealing with darkness and thirst\/hunger and equipment wear\/breakage.) Combat is a tactical blend of turn-based and real-time. Keeping your character alive can be hard, especially if you're not paying attention and if you're not putting enough thought into how you build and play your character.. -- Review for Linux version of this game --I know Echalon book series for many years, since Basilisk Studio released their first chapter for Linux OSes. At that time this game was one of the few real Linux game ports of classic old style RPGs and it worked like a charm. As time goes by Basilisk Studio released Book II and Book III by utilizing same engine and by adding some new features to it. If you never played old style RPG with turn-based fights or if you never played Book I please start from the beginning as the story continues in Book II and Book III. Taking into consideration game length and added features I'd say Book II is the best in the series. It should take about 25-30 hours to finish 1 playthrough. As long as Book I is free and you can get all 3 books in a bundle, if you're new to this game just try Book I to see if it's what you're looking for. What's new in Book II, to name some features: - now you can make money faster with added foraging skill (you'll get ingridients while you camp).- better interface for game screen (bigger resolution) and better interface for potion making (now you have recipe book and don't have to experiment)- now you have to repair your stuff or else it will break and vanish (repair skill used automatically when you camp)- challenges (game keeps record of your kill\/lockpicking\/etc stats and gives various challenges to improve replay value), for example play a thief (never bash anything) or healer (never use weapon) etc.Played on Debian 9, Nvidia drivers, perfect as usual.Highly Recommended! 10\/10. It's like book 1 but twice as long and half as interesting.. 8-9 \/ 10This is a great rpg and great series, if you enjoy turn based RPG give this a try its alot of funCONS: Game mechanics promote not using your levelup points until after you've bought skills, not a fan of power game favoritism, if you don't mind this aspect its easily a 9 ratingMy reviews are always based on the following-I only play hard or impossible-I don't save\/load scum, live with mistakes -I don't use 3rd party cheat tools-I don't play multiplayer and am reviewing singleplayer aspects unless otherwise noted. If you like good old Ultima-style (or a bit more advanced Diablo-looking) RPG's, with a darn good setting, Eschalon Book's your call. It's got a sensible story, loads to explore, blockades to explode and traps to exploit against your many newfound enemies.
